Welcome warmth! And a hearty farewell to old man winter! Welcome bare feet and cool green grass and whispering breezes and flowering bulbs of spring. I do appreciate winter of its snuggle down-ness, and for the lovely contrast it sets up for springtime. The bleak midwinter makes the splash of color in summer so vibrant. Yay for 4 seasons! This summer is full of musical delights for me, starting this Memorial Day weekend at the SCANDINAVIAN FESTIVAL in Ephraim UT. Merlyn Schofield will join me on the main stage at 1 pm. The festival is held at Snow College and makes for a delightful day if you’re so inclined.
Then on June 9th at 8:30 am we will be performing songs I wrote for a devotional on the faith and family of Joseph Smith at the MORMON HISTORY CONFERENCE at the Davis Conference Center in Layton UT. This is a free Sabbath day devotional.
In Mid June I’ll be joining Mark Robinette and the New American Symphony at the CLYTIE ADAMS BALLET SCHOOL RECITALS at Weber State University Browning Center for the Arts. It’s the 50th Anniversary for the school and we have a special show planned. So excited!
June 22 @ 3:15 I’ll be playing the UTAH ARTS FESTIVAL at the Leonardo museum stage.
July 6th I’ll be playing a free show at the lovely HOMESTEAD RESORT in Midway Utah. It’s part of their summer concert on the lawn series and if we’re lucky my son John will join me with some of his fabulous tunes.
More shows are in the works. I’ll try to keep you posted. Meanwhile, wiggle your toes in some of that lovely green, green grass of summer!
