Hi all!
It’s been pouring rain here. I mean REALLY pouring. The kind of rain from my childhood in Pennsylvania! It’s probably Mother Nature’s way of apologizing for a wimpy Utah winter. So we are looking forward to summer, not only for the sunshine, but for the music we get to play! Besides water, the heavens have poured upon us two great blessings this past week. Both gave me cause to sing.
First was a spontaneous lullaby originally sung by my mother for all of her grandchildren at birth. My daughters joined me in singing it in the hospital room after our beautiful GRACIE ELIZABETH PETERSEN was born to my daughter Sarah and her husband Dave. Gracie is a Mothers Day baby, born 5-10-15. What a doll!
Second was a new love song written for my dear friend and longtime singing partner, MERLYN SCHOFIELD, and sung at her wedding this last Saturday. Congratulations to Kent Weight for marrying a treasure! And best wishes to both of them.
Here’s a short rundown of the bigger events coming up. Check out the events column on my website for specific times and locations:

Besides these events that are open to the public, I’m happy to be playing regularly for Heart and Soul, a non-profit organization taking music to those who cannot get out to enjoy it, as well as private performances.
It is a great blessing in my life to be able to speak my heart through my instruments: my songs, my voice and my guitar. Thanks for listening!
And enjoy that summer sun!
