Hi Jerry-
I do have sheet music for Heavenly Choirs. If you live near Farmington you can get it from me, or if you live in the SLC area you can purchase it at Day Murray Music. Or I can mail a copy to you. Email me at cori@coriconnors.com and let me know how you’d like to get it, or where you’d like me to mail it. I can give you further details by replying to your email.
Thanks,
Cori
I was wondering when your Christmas concert tickets will be on sale. I am so excited!! It is my favorite holiday tradition. I try to pick 5 new friends each year to bring to your concert as their gift and everyone always says that it is there favorite thing. Thanks for your talent. Kim
Hi Kim- Wow, you totally made my day! I love doing the Christmas concert ad it makes my heart happy to see that you like it! Tickets are on sale now. The easiest way to get them is by calling Farmington Parks and Rec Dept M-F 9-5 and purchase them with a credit card. Their number is 801-451-0953.
Beyond being humbly flattered, I think sharing music with people we care about is such a wonderful gift to give! Thanks for letting me be part of that.
Hugs!

Cori, the Farmington website lists the matinee at 3:00 pm, but your website says 2:00. I just bought tickets and will die if I miss it Is it at 3 or 2?
I would also like to teach the choir Heavenly Choirs, but need sheet music. I don’t know where I got the copy that I have; it has been passed around some. What is the cost? I see I can’t duplicate the copy that I have. K
Hi Kaye-
First, thank you for being honest and sensitive to copyright laws. It’s hard enough to make a go at songwriting, even if everyone understood that the music we hear floating over the airwaves didn’t just appear from nowhere at no cost. So I appreciate your searching out and contacting me.
Heavenly Choirs is available in sheet music. You can order it on my website, though I just went into the site (we are reconstructing a new site and we’re not quite “there” yet) and searched “sheet music”. The music came up, but it has a $15 per copy charge, which is crazy. We’ll change that pronto. Sheet music is $5 a copy for up to 5 copies, plus $3 shipping/handling (regardless of how many you buy). If you want more than 5, say if you are using it for a choir, then I adjust the price, or grant permission at a lower cost for a certain number of copies you can make on your own. Email me personally at cori@coriconnors.com if you want to buy any. You can still pay via PayPal online. And if you live near Farmington UT you can pick them up as well.
Thanks again for your message,
Cori
I don’t know if you remember me or not but I know your cousin in Valdez AK, Michelle Chase. She is a friend of mine and got me hooked on your music. I was wondering if you sell minus tracks to your “Sleepy Little Town” My kids love to sing and would love to sing some of those songs at Christmas. We have been listening to “Sleepy Little Town” since we lived in Valdez years ago. The minute the first snowflakes falls, on comes “Sleepy Little Town”. One of the songs I am looking for on a minus trace is “You Would Have Loved This”. If it possible to get it on a minus track I would love to buy it.
Thanks for writing such beautiful music, we love you!
Jan Stewart
Hi Jan-
Yes, I remember you., Thanks for your very kinds email! Let me look through my stacks of discs in various stages of recording and see if I can find a minus track of You Would Have Loved This. If you have not heard back from me in a couple weeks email me again. I have a concert tomorrow night, then Thanksgiving, then my three Christmas concerts and the nightly Christmas gig for wards, corporations and private parties. Kind of a busy time of year. Good…but busy!
Hoping you are well.
Cori
Hello, darling Cori! My kids are at computer and I’m feverishly working in my classroom listening to you sing and getting teary (as I always do when I hear you sing)! Merry Christmas!
Love you! Sidni
Sidni-
Did I respond to this sweet message you left on my website? Made me miss you! Made me long for the days when my Sarah was writing her first poetry in your classroom and you were daily changing her life for good! What a powerful and wonderful woman you are!
Hoping you’re well!
Hugs,
Cori
Cori,I posted or at least I thought I had posted a message on your site. My name is Randy Teal I don’t know if you remember me from our Utah songwriters Association days. I had a duo partner Ridge Gilmour. Like you,I have continued writing and performing. I released a new cd at the end of 2010. I would love to get your take on it. If you are interested let me know where I could send you a free copy. Keep on writing, Thanks,Randy S. Teal
Hi Randy-
Please forgive my delay in getting back to you. I’m not much at critiquing finished products. I’m usually stronger in the writing process. Once a recording is done I think of it as a picture album of one point in a persons life. I’m happy to hear you are writing. How’s the CD selling for you? Such a tough business, this singer songwriter stuff can be! I’m teaching writing workshops in Feb and march, if you’re interested in connecting. Contact Murphy’s Guitars in Bountiful if so. I’m not sure of the details…but they are.
Be well!
Cori
Hi Scott-
It was good to talk with you. I sent the CD this morning, as per our conversation. Thanks for being so supportive! And I pray comfort for your friend.
Be well!
Cori
I think that it is funny that you said that you don’t know why you are getting the Goveners award. It is of course because you have the voice of an angel and a personality to match! Thanks for all the beautiful music over the years and congratulations!
Cori, several years ago I purchased Heavenly Choirs for my primary to sing for christmas. They have also learned it for this year. It is my favorite and I tear up everytime they sing it.
This morning when I was watching the news, my heart was breaking for the families involved in the Sandy Hook shooting. Christmas is a time to look to your children, love them a little more, see the world through their eyes, and enjoy the magic of Christmas that only exsists because they do. These families have lost that.
I thought- what can I do for them? Then your song came to mind. They will be in the Heavenly Choirs this Christmas. I want their families to know this. I want the world to know this. Would you give permission to me to make a youtube video of my primary singing this? Feel free to call if you like 801-361-3115
Cori, A few years ago some dear friends of mine, Dick and Lonna Brown, gave me a copy of “Sleepy Little Town”. It was and still is the best Christmas gift I have ever received. This year I gave myself “One Small Boy” and I thank you for the JOY it has brought to me this holiday season. I now own most of your CD’s and there isn’t anything that you do, that I don’t absolutely love. I know how busy you must be, but oh how much I would love to share YOU and your wisdom with our stake relief society up here in Ogden sometime. If that could ever be a possibility, please contact me.
Hi Dorothy-
I am touched and deeply humbled by your kind words! I am especially honored that one as talentd and amazing as Dick Brown would choose to give you my cd! Thank you for taking the time and energy to share your thoughful words with me.
I would be happy to talk with you about coming to visit with your Relief Society. (I am actually working on my RS lesson for tomorrow, and your message popped up on my computer). You can reach me via email at cori@coriconnors.com.
I hope 2013 is a grand new beginning for you and those you love.
Cori
Cori, when I told my six year old grandson you were thinking of making a cd of children’s songs and lullabies, his eyes got round as saucers and he said “Oh Grandma! What a GOOD IDEA!!” I have thought so for years, ever since I heard “Ride a Blue Pony”. This little grandson, Colby, also told me he loves to sing Heavenly Choirs because when he does the Holy Ghost makes him have tears in his eyes. So from all the Wiser family may we say “YES PLEASE!” to your GOOD IDEA!
Luana-
Oh man…totally make my heart pound!~ I am so full of self doubt thes days. Your words mean so much to me. And thanks for being such a support all these years!I continue to ponder that lullaby album.
Big hugs!

Hi,
I attended one of your Christmas Concerts in Farmington UT. I completely enjoyed the music that I heard that afternoon. I was somewhat troubled when I entered the concert but left with a real peace in my heart. Words can’t explain the joy I felt in listening to those beautiful pieces. Thank you for sharing this beautiful talent with us!
I do have a favor to ask. I’m not even sure if this can be accomplished with your busy schedule. Let me explain in short detail. My father passed away about 1.5 years ago. The piano was a big part of his life. I remember him playing since I was a little boy. The last months of his life he couldn’t enjoy the playing of the piano. That was very hard for him. . . and us. I have since wrote about him and the piano and the effect his playing had on his family. I wondered, if I were to send you a copy, would you look at it? Maybe, similar to the POW tribute you did in the concert I attended, you might be able to use this writing and pics as you wish? I’m not asking for anything in return, just passing it along to see if you might be able to use for a future song or something to that affect. Up to you! Thanks again for the wonderful concert. I had a whole new outlook on the Christmas Season and its true meaning!
Hi-
Thanks for your message. I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My mom passed in August and it’s been very difficult. My condolences. Writing is quite catharctic and I’m glad you were able to write something for your dad. And thank you for thinking of me. I generally do my own songs in my concerts, with an occasional traditional carol. If you are thinking of tweaking your song or want some advice on writing, I am teaching a songwriting workshop in March in Bountiful The last session of that 3 session workshop is a critique session where I lead the rest of the class in song evaluations. You might find that helpful. Murphys Guitars is sponsoring the workshop. I’m not sure of their phone number but they are on Main Stret in Bountiful UT.
Again, my sincere condolences.
Cori
Cori! This is Jen Mitchell (now Krummenacher), Sarah’s friend and your old neighbor. I’ve been talking about you and still singing your songs for years (and was so excited, after becoming friends with Katie (Riggs) and Elliot, to learn about the connection there). Natalie and I can still sing all of your songs by heart and I now sing them (horribly!) to my two girls. I’ve been meaning to contact you for a while to tell you what an amazing person you are and what a lasting impact you, as a person, and your beautiful music has had on me. You were always so wonderful to me and my family; you don’t forget a person like you–that warmth, kindness and charm. All my love to you and your family. Hope to catch one of your concerts soon!
Jen! What a wonderful delight to hear from you! And to hear such sweet things. Thank you for your kind words. (You always did have that loving, tender heart) And now two lucky girls get to call you “Mom”!
I hope you are doing well…that your whole family is well. Please give my regards to your parents, and Natalie and Greg, and your grandmother (if she is still with us. My mom passed away this summer, and it’s been very hard because she was so much a part of us, as your grandmother was with you.)I do hope we will be able to connect again.
Much love,
Cori
I’ve been on the hunt for a song I used to hear in Idaho, Old Joe Brannick. I don’t know who wrote it, but would like to find out more and get the lyrics for it. You mentioned this song in your end of lent blog. Can you point me in the direction of finding the song? I’m a singer and songwriter in Eugene, Oregon. thanks in advance.
Cori,
I have some Cowboy Poetry-type poems about pioneers & Pony Express Riders. Would you be interested in putting melody lines & choruses to 2 of them?
We live near you, so I could get the papers to you. Please let me know.

Hi Cori, I just talked to you at the Clytie Adams perfomance during intermission about your song, “Shadow”. I would love to get a recording and/or sheet music for it if it is available. You and Mark did great tonight! Thanks, Amy
Cori, my family was at your concert on Friday night. Thank you for having the courage to share your personal battles with the dark cloud of depression. The strength you showed in that moment of vulnerability was inspiring and so very brave. I have those moments in my life, when I feel the oppression of the darkness surrounding me. My children also have that challenge in their lives, and I am grateful every time someone can share their story of depression, so that they don’t feel so isolated in their lives. Thank you for shedding light on something so dark and personal.
Hi, Cori. My name is Nancy Merrill. I talked to you at the Utah Voices Broadway Bingo IV concert about youth firesides. We are planning a Sunday evening fireside in July, either the 6th or 13th, and would like to know if you are available either of those dates. It is for our summer Youth Conference. Please email me at merrillrn@gmail.com. Thanks!
Hi, Cori. Thanks for singing at our stake center this evening. The peace and happiness that you brought us can’t be expressed in words. And, without question, you sing Give Me Jesus with more heart and more depth and more everything than any other singer in the world.
Hi, I’m Abigail Woolley and my sister and I danced in Clytie’s tribute dance and was wondering if I could get a copy of that song. That would be great!
Hello Cori,
I attended your Christmas Concert last year in Farmington and loved it! You mentioned that you have donated sewing machines to people around the world-Africa, I think. Anyway, when you mentioned it, I thought of my mom. She was a cloth collector. She passed away and my father would like to donate it to someone. It is beautiful cloth for clothing, wools, silks, etc. I have approx. 80 big boxes of cloth-yes she had a large stash! I have already donated about 100 boxes of cotton cloth and have probably about 50 more. I thought that your organization could give the cloth with the sewing machines so that they could produce and sell clothing. Let me know if this is even feasible. Thank you for sharing your talents and being so willing to serve. Kristiane Pedersen
Hi Kristiane –
Thanks for your generous offer of fabric for the orphanage in Africa. You are so thoughtful!~ I think the problem will be shipping it there. But let me check on it. We have also donated to an organization called Families Helping Families, which builds houses in Mexico. They might be able to use the fabric. I know at least one of the women who is a single mother there sews to support her family, and we have friends who take a trailer of donated goods down a couple times a year. Would you like me to check with them and see when they are going next?
Thanks for being so thoughtful!
Cori
That would be wonderful Cori. Thank you. My email is mumstheword.pedersen @gmail.com if you need to reach me. It would be wonderful to give this beautiful cloth a good home! Thank you for your time.
CORI,
Do you offer to sing at private ward Christmas events. Several years ago you sang at a ward event in Layton. It touched me so deeply, as everyone who attended. My husband and I were put in charge of our annual ward event this year. What is your fee? We are in Pleasant Grove. Our date is Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014. We would be thrilled to share that feeling with our new ward.
Laura Soule’
Hi Laura-
Thanks for you message and your kind words. I do sing for private, corporate and ward parties. If I’m coming solo I charge $150 for ward parties. This includes me bringing my sound system. If I bring my bass player or harmony then it’s $100 more per person. So far I am available on Dec 11. I will have to travel from Farmington.
WONDERFUL!!!
We have ward council 8 am tomorrow. I will know what our ward budget is by then and will confirm with you by Sunday evening.
Thank so much, SWEET!
Laura Soule’
Cori,
It seems I didn’t realize the demographics of our ward. We have 97 children under the age of three. Which lets you know that may not be the best for a singer such as yourself and the attention span of our children in general to sit quietly, especially those very little ones. I wouldn’t want you to come just to sing three songs. I appreciate so much your quick reply. We will probably find someone in our ward with talent and have them perform shortly to bring the Spirit in to wrap up the night. Thanks again, you’re wonderful!
Laura Soule’
I just ordered some sheet music that I need pretty quickly. Would it be possible to pick it up from you instead of having it shipped? I live in your same town and I would like to save some time as well as a little money doing so. Thanks.
Hi- Yes, in fact if you live near me you can always get CDs or sheet music in the red milk box on my front porch. Hooray for small town America! 801-201-2001
Cori
I’m wondering if you have sheet music for Heavenly choirs. I’d like to do that for Christmas Program in our ward.
Please get back to me ASAP.
thanks,

Hi Laura-
Thanks for you message and your kind words.

Cori,
It seems I didn’t realize the demographics of our ward.

Hi Cori,
I just ordered some sheet music that I need pretty quickly.
